Have you noticed the garden in the front of our school?  Serene Harbor is a unique outdoor classroom that provides an atmosphere to encourage our students to explore, dream, and learn.

 

Serene Harbor includes gardens, both for native vegetation and areas to grow vegetables and other plants. The seating area is suitable for instruction, as well as school-sponsored outdoor events.

 

A huge thank you to Diaz Lawn http://diazlawn.com/ and Pots N Plants Garden Center https://plasticpinkflamingos.com/ for their donations and superior work to get the garden back in shape for this semester.

 

Serene Harbor is funded and maintained by PTO fundraising, volunteers, and donations.  If you happen to hit up the Labor Day sales this weekend at any garden center or home improvement store, we are in need of the following:

 

Garden hoses

Spot sprinklers

Gift cards

Small trellises 

Hummingbird feeders and clear nectar 

Bird seed

 

Any donations may be left at the front desk with a note on them "SHE PTO"
