Thanks to the generosity of our families and local business partners, Serene Hills Elementary PTO is able to provide students with valuable programs, resources, and services beyond what the school budget allows.

The PTO works hand-in-hand with our teachers and staff to direct these funds where they’ll make the most impact -- like these major initiatives over the past few years!

Basketball Court Covering

New for the 2025-26 school year, our PTO funded a beautiful UV-protective shade covering for the basketball courts that keeps our Sailors safe from the sun and cool while they play.

The shade significantly lowers court temperatures, making recess, PE, and after-school fun much more comfortable year-round.

Serene Harbor Garden

Located in front of the school, the Serene Harbor Garden is a lush, peaceful space planted and maintained by the PTO.

It’s a hands-on learning environment where students can explore nature, watch plants grow, and enjoy a quiet spot for reflection right on campus.

STEM Lab

Our PTO helped bring the STEM lab to life—a creative space where all Serene Hills students can dive into science, technology, engineering, and math.

From coding robots to building structures, the lab inspires curiosity and innovation in every grade.

2025-2026 Fundraising Events

Sailor Sprint is all new this year, replacing the Apex Fun Run, and is one of our two largest fundraisers!

Not only does this exciting program promote character-building, fun, and fitness for our students, but it also plays a vital role in raising funds that directly benefit Serene Hills Elementary.

The Parent Gala & Fundraiser is our second-largest fundraising event of the year and makes a big impact for Serene Hills!

Join us for an evening of dinner, dancing, and a silent auction featuring incredible items and experiences—all to support our students and school programs.

Carnival on the Hill is one of our most beloved community events each spring—and a key fundraiser for SHE!

Join us for an unforgettable evening filled with games, rides, food, and fun—all while helping raise funds that directly support our school.

2025-2026 serene spirit nights

Join us for Serene Spirit Nights at some of our favorite local restaurants! On these special evenings, a portion of all proceeds goes right back to the Serene Hills PTO—helping fund programs, events, and resources for our students.

It’s the easiest (and tastiest) way to support our school—just show up, enjoy dinner or a sweet treat, and know you’re making a difference!
