Konstella Resolution - Getting your student in Konstella and/or the correct classroom.
If you are new to Serene Hills Elementary and not able to see your child / classroom you will need to use the link that was provided to you via the teachers welcome email or go to www.serenehillspto.org/konstella and click on the "register at this link". You will follow all the prompts for getting you registered and then you will be able to get your student in his / her classroom.
If you are a returning parent we have discovered that you may still be in your child's old classroom. There are two ways, explained below, that this can be resolved once you have registered your email via www.serenehillspto.org/konstella and click on the "register at this link" or by clicking the email link sent by the teacher in their welcome email.
Computer: Under your name / settings, select "children" and edit your childs classroom by selecting "change classroom". If your student is not listed create their profile again and the system will say "your child was found in the system, would you like to create new or merge?" . You can merge instead of having a duplicate child.
Konstella App: After setting up and verifying your email you will be prompted to set up your child. If your student was previously at SHE it will say "your child was found in the system, would you like to create new or merge?" . You can merge instead of having a duplicate child.
Additional Helpful App Tips: (The computer version is easy and slightly different to navigate)
School House at Bottom: This is the school wide communication board where you will find all your news feeds. Some will be for your class and others will be school wide annoucements.
Messages: Returning parents may find old messages here which can be deleted by swiping left. Also under messages you will find your classroom communication board, a private message feature, join committees, and join classroom (if needed).
Directory: Select "Browse Classrooms" - here you can find your class list and other class parents that have allowed their inforamtion to be provided. You can also "Browse Comittees" to sign up for volunteering.
